Restless at night in a damp, dim prison, the party wonder why they were arrested. Taria, a pacing guard, questions them, but soon leaves them to sleep. She doubted Helka and was insistent in the arrests. Helka was told that her and her fellow prisoners had committed an atrocious act, though none can recall any such.

A mysterious figure teleports around the rooms in the form of seemingly purple smoke. A robed man appeared – Terrin - telling them that he can get them out. After some magical antics and getting Wisteria's name origin wrong, he sets them up with his friend on a merchant (Milo’s) ship before parting.

Whilst taking respite in the night, they get attacked. The man identified himself as Burd . The two mermfolk left to the ocean, leaving Burd to fend for himself. After defeating him and tying up Rru, Milo, shaken from the experience, leads the ship again, taking advantage of Wisteria's flight.
